The Brief

A project compromising of barn style and outbuilding heritage assets to be converted into residential dwellings.

What we did

A structural report was completed to gain the soundness of the buildings before any planning work commenced.
The clients brief was then taken into consideration and 2 residential designs were produced.

The planning application included an ecological survey, bird bat and badger surveys, highways details including visibility splays for the entrance, parking and turning circles in site, materials to be used and justification of the change of use.

Upon planning being granted pre commencement conditions were discharged and the drawings were then upgraded to a building regulation standard with the aid of a structural engineer.
